Private Client

DENTON partnered with a private client to transform 23,500 square-foot of prime office space across two floors in Manchester. DENTON collaborated closely with the client and JLL, to create a workspace that would support a range of activities, foster employee wellbeing, and reflect the brand’s unique culture and global standards, whilst paying homage to the locality and personality of the city and its employees. The project was delivered over 25 weeks, in two phases, due to the additional floor acquired by the client during construction, to support the rapid growth of the business. The project emphasised functionality, adaptability, and acoustic quality to meet diverse needs in a single, seamless design

To achieve the client’s vision, we led interactive workshops and consultations that guided the design development, ensuring each detail aligned with their requirements. The resulting space features an impressive reception, a versatile client suite with dedicated meeting rooms, and a flexible social space that can host townhall gatherings or smaller, intimate events. Acoustic optimisation was integrated throughout, and varied, flexible furniture allows the space to flex to the everyday needs of the employees. By blending workstations, private meeting rooms, collaborative spaces, and design elements unique to the Manchester team, such as the honeycomb pattern and mosaic graphics, the workspace now supports a healthy mix of formal and informal interactions.

• Flexible Social Space: Townhall area with adaptable furniture and audio-visual requirements, to enable auditorium style layouts and social event space. 

• Adaptable Training Rooms: Flexible partitioning and modular furniture allows rooms to be reconfigured to meet varied client needs. 

• Ergonomic Workstations: Two floors with sit-stand desks for improved employee wellbeing. 

• Diverse Meeting Options: Private 1-to-1 spaces, informal lounges, video conferencing rooms, and collaboration points. 

• Manchester-Themed Design Element: Subtle honeycomb pattern to acoustic wall panels, symbolising Manchester’s worker bee, tiled mosaic graphics and bespoke fretwork.
