Based in the heart of Manchester, Peninsula Business Services provides businesses with comprehensive resources and advice on HR, employment law, and health & safety. As their team expanded rapidly, they required a refurbishment of their existing space to accommodate their growth within their building.

DENTON was brought on board to create a new layout reflecting Peninsula’s ethos and creating a more productive workspace for their expanding team. The redesign aimed to rebrand and update the space while also creating areas that functionally worked for the range of services they offer and the specific needs of those teams. The 10-week office fit-out project involved creating an open-plan office space that provided several workspaces for different work styles.

Peninsula’s redesigned office space was transformed into a vibrant and productive environment, reflecting its new brand ethos and encouraging collaboration and productivity. The redesign allowed for the allocation of specific teams to different floors and enabled the company to expand in the future. The new design has also been well received by employees, who feel more motivated and focused in the office environment.

In order to enhance the productivity and work environment of their sales teams, our team installed private cellular desks for making phone calls. These desks were equipped with high acoustic desk screens that ensured that there were no disturbances caused to others in the open plan. Additionally, high-quality, branded acoustic cascades were installed halfway through the office to prevent sound from travelling across the office, break up the space for specific team areas, and provide semi-private spaces for staff.

To create further spaces for staff to conduct impromptu meetings or casual conversations, open call rooms and feature booth seating were installed on the office’s outskirts. These spaces not only served as respite areas but also helped in doubling up as functional workspaces. Incorporating these acoustic solutions optimised the workplace and promoted a conducive work environment.

DENTON are currently working on redesigning their reception space, too, following the fit-out project on their office floors, which is due to complete in the autumn of 2023.
