Getting to Know Christine: Designing with Purpose at DENTON - DENTON

We’re excited to welcome Christine to DENTON as our newest Sustainability Advisor Trainee—a role that blends her passion for sustainable design with our commitment to shaping responsible, future-ready workplaces.

Having recently completed her degree in Interior Architecture and Design from University of Hertfordshire, Christine brings fresh insight, energy and a clear sense of purpose to the team. In her own words, she was drawn to design because of its potential to positively impact both people and planet. Her interest in sustainability grew from a deep awareness of the environmental challenges we face, and a belief that design carries an obligation—not just to functionality and aesthetics, but to long-term impact.

Why Office Design Matters

Christine chose the office design and fit-out industry with intent. For her, it’s a space where sustainable thinking can be applied in practical, visible, and meaningful ways—from material choices and energy use to waste reduction and wellbeing. She sees workplaces as one of the key frontiers in the push toward a more circular, lower-carbon economy.

At DENTON, she’ll be supporting the sustainability team across research, documentation and ESG reporting—getting hands-on with the challenges and innovations that define modern fit-outs.

Passions, People and Progress

Christine has a particular interest in circular design, including the reuse and repurposing of materials and furniture—key themes in our responsible business strategy. In her first few months, she’s eager to learn from experienced team members and begin building confidence in real-world sustainability delivery.

Her first impressions of DENTON have been, in her words, “extremely positive.”
